Welcome to IAEE Rocky Mountain Chapter
Meeting the Needs of Exhibition & Events Industry Professionals
Welcome to the IAEE Rocky Mountain Chapter! We are excited to step into 2016 as we have a big year of activity planned at both the local and national level. Of course we will be involved with the Meetings Industry Council Annual Conference and Trade Show, and hope you will join us this year on Thursday, March 17th at the Colorado Convention Center. Be sure to check off the IAEE membership box when you register for the conference. We will hold our Annual Member Appreciation event in July at Coors Field. The group of members attending this event has increased each year since we started in 2013 and it’s a wonderful way to have fun with industry colleagues. Look for information coming in the spring for the Annual Golf, Golf tournament in August. It seems like community service feels different in the fall and we plan on helping out again at the Food Bank of the Rockies in September. The always enjoyable Serving Up Hope Luncheon will be held in November and once again IAEE will support the event by purchasing tables and inviting members to join us. Finally, Expo, Expo in Anaheim this year from December 6-8. Check back on the IAEE website for the most up to date information on upcoming events.
One of the main goals our board consistently agrees on is the need for participation from our members. We have seen growth over the past two years and would like to continue that trend as we become a stronger and more dynamic chapter. There are many opportunities to become involved and we welcome any amount of time you can offer, in any area and at any level you can participate. In other words... please join us... we’d love to have your help and are confident you will benefit from the experience, professionally and personally.
We asked some of our local chapter members to share some of their IAEE experiences and captured them in this video. Please watch and let us know how you would like to get involved!
Together, I believe we can continue to grow and improve the Rocky Mountain Chapter! I would love to hear from you; please feel free to share your ideas for our chapter. We'd like to hear what areas you think we can improve on, what programs and events you think will be beneficial to you and your company, or areas you are struggling to find answers to in our industry. We offer tools for every level and interest in our industry and hope that you will take advantage of those tools as we progress through 2016.
