Events are changing at the speed of light. The rules of technology, social media and live gathering philosophies are being turned on their heads. The lines are blurring between b2b and consumer events and smart practitioners strive to stay current.

David Adler will share what he has learned as the CEO and Founder of the BizBash, the largest trade media company for the event industry where he believes that the most important function of an event organizer is to be a trained “Collaboration Athlete”. Find out about everything from micro kitchens and para social celebrities to the latest tips on story making, social media and biometric data.

Francis is a 25 year veteran of the tradeshow industry. He joined IAEE through the New England Chapter. His firm, Time & Place Strategies, provides full service consulting to tradeshow owners and organizers to help solve important problems, anticipate and prepare for change, and build high performing and highly profitable tradeshow brands. He also provides trusted advisor services to Boards and senior managers. 

Francis is a recognized industry futurist through his writings, speaking and chairing a number of industry panels and committees. He has chaired the IAEE Future Trends Task Force in 2013, 2014, 2015 and again in 2016. He has also received the IAEE Chairman’s Award. His new book, “Tradeshow Industry Future, the MODERN DIGITAL TRADESHOW” will be published second quarter 2016.
